I found out today that this coming weekend is going to be Picklesburgh!

I have lived in Pittsburgh for nearly 11 years and I have not been yet. Normally I don't want to deal with the crowds and the heat, and while I expect that to remain true, I am still wanting to go. I don't want to be 70 years old and not able to go and not having ever gone. Also, the world may not exist by the time I'm 70.

I am going to talk to my friend Mike and see if he and his wife want to come with us. Apparently this year its going to be a little different as it is going to span both the Roberto Clemente Bridge and the Andy Warhol bridge.

Earlier this year we were at the Pittsburgh Home and Garden show and I purchased some horse radish pickles. They were mind blowing! I've been trying to find some that good since then, the closest I have come is the sweet heat ones from Aldi. They're good, but not really on the same level. I'm hoping I can find some really good ones there. I don't think I have any interest in trying pickel beer, or any weird other things.

Grocery Shoping

So after taking Seth to Sams and Costco yesterday Katie and I didn't actually get any groceries that we needed for the next week. When we got up this morning we went to the Freedom Diner in Monaca. I don't know what they are doing there but they have these potatoes they call "cottage" style. Oh man are they amazing!

Then we went to Aldi to get some energy drinks and things for the week. Finally I can have some good drinks cause whatever crap the Liquid Death guys are doing is trash!

Then we went to walmart and just kind of hung out for the day. It may not sound like much, and I suppose it isn't, but it's nice when you get to spend that kind of time with your wife. Or so I think.
